Water Cube
Water cube generally refers to the National Swimming Center. National Swimming Center, also known as "Water Cube" and "ice cube", is located in Beijing Olympic Park, Chaoyang District, Beijing. It was built on December 24, 2003. The main building is close to the central axis of the city and opposite to the National Stadium.
In 2010, the National Swimming Center won the outstanding structure award of the International Association of bridge and structural engineering.
