In Tashkent, Uzbekistan, known as the "City of the Sun," construction is bustling at the new city project. Steel pipes from Daqiuzhuang Town in Jinghai District, Tianjin, will soon form the backbone of the new city's landmark. Tianjin Yuantai Derun Group recently secured an order for nearly 10,000 tons of steel pipe for the Tashkent New City project, marking another breakthrough for Tianjin manufacturing in the international infrastructure sector.
"As a key hub city in Uzbekistan, Tashkent's development and construction are of vital importance to the regional economic prosperity. Leveraging our extensive technical expertise in steel pipe manufacturing, stringent quality control systems, and strong supply chain capabilities, we have become a key partner in the Tashkent New City project, providing nearly 10,000 tons of high-quality steel pipes for its construction," said Zhao Pu, Export Manager of Tianjin Yuantai Derun Group.
As a core base for China's welded pipe industry, Daqiuzhuang Town boasts an annual steel processing capacity exceeding 38 million tons and produces one-third of the nation's total. This has formed a nationally recognized industrial cluster, known as the China Welded Pipe Industry Base, and boasts numerous outstanding enterprises. Tianjin Yuantai Derun Group, a leading enterprise in China's square and rectangular tube industry, is one of them.

This marks another solid step forward in Daqiuzhuang Town's efforts to establish an innovation platform and R&D base for the steel manufacturing industry and to build an operational system for the square and rectangular steel pipe industry.
