The project is located in the factory area of Tianjin Yuantai Derun Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. It utilizes five buildings and parking lot roofs in Tianjin Yuantai Derun to construct a distributed photovoltaic power station. The project adopts a "spontaneous self use, surplus electricity grid connection" method. After the project is connected to the grid, the average annual power generation is 10.2876 million kWh, which can save about 1265.68 tons of standard coal per year and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 3400 tons.
Research on distributed rooftop photovoltaics has shown that workshops equipped with solar energy systems can reduce temperatures by 4-5 degrees Celsius in summer. In winter, the photovoltaic panels on the roof can also provide insulation, and compared to outdoors, the indoor temperature can increase by at least 3-5 degrees.
